A set menu with extraordinary vegetarian dishes that are meant for shared-dining. Great ambiance and kind service in the industrial area of Amsterdam Noord. A must-visit when eating-out in Amsterdam.
You can choose meat too, but since it is a ‘vegetable first’ restaurant, we chose the ‘normal’ and that is vegetarian menu. Tell the waiters what you like wine-wise and they will suggest you a natural wine.
Our menu went from smoked cauliflower tempura to kohlrabi with thai basil and grapefruit. Loved the bimi with kale and fermented chili and the okra with sesame and codium. So diverse and so tasty, every course that came out was a surprise.
In a great ambiance where they still play vinyl records.
Cornerstore Amsterdam works with shifts of 2,5 hours in which they will service the whole menu. The restaurant itself has such a relaxed and welcoming feel, it is perfect for a night out with friends. Really enjoyed having dinner at the Cornerstore.
We paid 139,50 euro’s for a dinner of 3 x menu vega and a bottle of wine ‘vino del giorno.’ Go here, but make sure to book yourself a table beforehand This place was packed and it is really popular. I understand why. Loved this local gem.
